Scenic Shuttle Map

The Scenic Shuttle, initiated as Spitfire Shuttle by Ek Lewis in the early 1990s, has always worked in with the Catlins Coaster service connecting travelers from Te Anau to Invercargill via the Southern Scenic Route.

Over the years a variety of operators have run the Scenic Shuttle including Air Fiordland, Craig and Gaylene and current owners Travel HeadFirst.Fiordland Highway

The connections to the Tuatapere Hump Ridge Track and Dusky Track are also
key components of the service taking hikers to their hard core tramping
calls in the rugged country of southern Fiordland.

We know it does not get
too much more remote than this so the service is always appreciated by
these folk and locals alike who use the service to get freight to and from
Invercargill.

Stewart Island is another popular option and Scenic Shuttle ties in with
options to and from the Island as well offering another vital transport
service for the deep south.
